A Children's Advocacy Center (CAC) provides a child-focused environment to coordinate the investigation, prosecution, and treatment of child abuse while helping abused children heal. CACs are located throughout the state and provide all services at no cost to a child's family.
Services include: forensic interviews, medical examinations, advocacy, counseling, and community education. For more information on Kentucky's CACs, please visit here or contact one of the local centers.
For information regarding reporting standards and investigation protocol, please review the Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect Booklet.
