The SAKI Multidisciplinary Taskforce works with the Attorney General's Office of Victims Advocacy to reach goals established under the SAKI 2017 and 2019 grant projects.
What is the structure of the Taskforce?
The Taskforce consists of law enforcement, prosecutors, victim service providers, SANEs, and other professionals who provide a multi-disciplinary approach. This group meets bi-monthly to review SAKI grant objectives, receive updates from the University of Louisville and the Kentucky State Police Laboratory, and address factors that lead to a high number of unsubmitted sexual assault kits.
