This December 1, on Giving Tuesday,  you can help us create a world where every child is safe, healthy, and able to thrive by donating to the Kentucky Child Victims Trust Fund (CVTF).

Kentucky's children deserve to grow up in a safe, loving, and nurturing home. Sadly, this is not the case for every child in Kentucky.  Our state ranks first in the nation for instances of child maltreatment, but together we can put a stop to child maltreatment in the Commonwealth.

The Attorney General's Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Prevention Board (CSAEP) oversees CVTF. Each year the CVTF provides financial assistance for innovative child abuse prevention programs, assists survivors of child abuse and neglect, and sponsors child sexual abuse prevention conferences.

This year, the Attorney General's office was pleased to announce that the CVTF provided nearly $220, 000 in grants to prevent child sexual abuse in the Commonwealth. Grants were awarded to South Central Kentucky Kids on the Block, Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky, Family Nurturing Center, and Child Watch Counsel and Advocacy Center.

Kentucky's 15 Children's Advocacy Centers also received more than $65,000 to offset the costs associated with administering more than 880 child sexual abuse medical exams to survivors.

This December, on Giving Tuesday, join us and countless Kentuckians and organizations in the fight to end child abuse in the Commonwealth by donating to CVTF today.

All donations made to CVTF are tax-deductible. Donate to the Child Victims Trust Fund today.
