Defending the Commonwealth

Attorney General Daniel Cameron is committed to defending the Commonwealth at every turn. This includes protecting the laws passed by the General Assembly at each level of the court system.

Attorney General Cameron also defends local communities by making sure the work of prosecutors and Commonwealth's Attorneys are fully defended on appeal.

He is working with the General Assembly in 2020 to codify in statute the Office of the Solicitor General, which will handle all appellate litigation for the Commonwealth, including advocating for Kentucky in important cases in the United States Supreme Court.
