Welfare Case Worker Investigation

The KBI investigates welfare fraud committed by public employees stealing from within the system. Welfare fraud creates a burden for taxpayers by increasing the cost of welfare programs. While the vast majority of welfare case workers are hardworking, honest individuals, the KBI is working to stop theft of funds from vulnerable citizens who need assistance.
