Attorney General's Distinguished Service Award

The Office of Victims Advocacy is preparing to present the annual Attorney General’s Distinguished Service Award to one deserving Victim Advocate. The award will be presented in Frankfort, on the first day of the annual Victim Assistance Conference, June 13-14, 2017.

We invite you to nominate candidates whose service to crime victims merits recognition in commitment, exemplary service, and contribution to preserving and protecting victims’ rights to justice and due process, and to improving the overall treatment of crime victims. While we recognize the important work of other professions, with this award we will focus on Victim Advocates (professional or volunteer) – prosecutor, law enforcement or community-based.

Please bring the work of these dedicated and deserving individuals to our attention. To assist you in the nomination process, click here for the award description and nomination form.

The deadline for nominations was Friday, May 26, 2017. Nomination forms must be postmarked (if mailed) or received (if faxed or emailed) by that date.
