A message from the Attorney General...

Welcome to the Kentucky LifeSmarts Competition!

The Kentucky LifeSmarts partners challenge you to participate in the 2007-2008 LifeSmarts program to showcase your consumer knowledge in the areas of personal finance, health and safety, the environment, technology and consumer rights and responsibilities. Our goal is for you to have fun while learning and improving your marketplace skills. Being an informed, educated consumer will prove to be one of the most valuable life skills you possess.

Take the practice quizzes and enter the Kentucky competition. The top scoring teams will compete in the state LifeSmarts championship in Frankfort on Thursday, March 6, 2008 for a chance to represent Kentucky at the national competition in Minneapolis, Minnesota, April 12-15, 2008. The face to face state competition is moderated by consumer experts from the Office of the Attorney General and other state agencies, the Better Business Bureau and consumer reporters from area television stations. All teams competing in Frankfort will receive “goodie bags” filled with items contributed by our sponsors. In the past these have included t-shirts, CD holders, sports bottles and other fun give-aways.
