 Nine individuals have been indicted in connection with a pattern of abusive behavior against different adult residents of Community Presence, Inc., an adult-care facility located in Carter County.
Each of the individuals is charged with abuse of an adult, unlawful imprisonment, and wanton endangerment in the first degree. Each of the defendants could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
 Attorney General Jack Conway today hosted the seventeenth annual Kentucky Crime Victims’ Rights Day Rally in the Capitol Rotunda. The rally is part of National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, April 14 - 18. This year’s theme is “Justice for Victims – Justice for All.”
