When I started school I was told that they would help us find a job. I was also told that we had to sit in classes for the first 2 weeks of class before we could sign for the extra money we could get from Direct loans or any grants that we were offered. I was there a year then it became 30 days we would have to wait to sign for our extra money. June of 2010 I started the term and went through to August of 2010. I was not able to sign for that terms money. The next term started at the end of August first of September and I waited the 30 days and was finally able to sign for the June terms money and the August terms money. The 4 and half months that went by I called Direct loans and I was told that the money was placed into the National account in June so my money that I have to pay back to the Govenrment was sitting in National's account for all that time and they were able to drawl Interest off of my money. My last year at national I have to sit out for 9 months because of medical reasons and the last term I went back the had raised my tution with out telling my anything. Another student there had to explain it to me. Now that I have graduated from there in May of 2012 they call to see If I have a job or not and thats all. I am starting a new college in October and I have to start all over again as a Freshman because even though I have graduated from National none of my credits will keep me from having to take all those classes over again at the other school.

i was over charged for books when they get them for free when ever thing was taken out it just didnt add up right and they harass you when u or ur child is sick and u cant come to class.n
and i asked around to other collages to see where i could transfer to after i was done at daymar but i found out the the crites and some degrees where not exepted any where but daymar so i was just wasting my time and gas money to get there from mayfield.i was also told by daymar that my payment for school would be $50.00 a mounth and they charged me  200.00 a mounth for a sinle mom of 3 with no income living a homeless shelter fighting for my ssi disablty

I graduated with A Associate Degree in Health Information. It was a requirement that you had to complete Two externships that was Accredited by (AHIMA). I was gave a grade but was never sent out to do a externship. So now I have no onsite training.

my experience with strayer was started with aggressive recruiting. I.e. calling repeatedly until i got all the stuff they needed. I originally inquired about fall classes and was hurried to go ahead and take summer classes. With my work sponsoring some scholarships my classes were supposed to cost less than $300 per quarter. When my job and family required more time and i was unable to keep up with the work i was kicked out of classes. I tried to keep up with the lectures so i could at least learn something from the classes. when i was unable to spend the time requirted to keep up with the attendance requirements (which were twice the amount of time they told me i would be required) they kicked me out of classes all together and told me i would owe them an additional $1000 because i dropped out. it seems rather unfair to charge me more if i stop using a service early. i paid for classes i feel i should at a minimum be allowed to attend or not at my discretion.

I attended the surgical tech program at this school.  I was one of the first graduating classes for this program. The down fall is they promised me the school would be accredited and would find a job. They didn't let me finish my clinicals but took my money.  Long story short several years later, I tried to return to finish my clinicals and they told me I would have to take more classes and pay again.  My student loans are in default for failure to find a job in the medical field of my study for lack of training due to constant new instructors in and out the program.  If there is anything you can do for me, please contact me by email of by phone.

I am requesting you to file a civil rights violations lawsuit against the United States Department of Education.  My rights as a student were violated during the fall and spring semester of 2010-2011. I was an online student at Jefferson Community College. My UBS drives containing my work files became corrupted, my papers shown online were moving upside down, the server knocked me off line during tests. I was not permitted to re-test, thus failing me in work where I am extremely knowledgable. This cost me three years of wasted time and thousands of dollars in school loans. I was forced to drop classes and fail. My grades dropped from 3.8 GPA to 1.4. I was not allowed to continue classes nor received any funding for the 2012 period, therefore was forced to drop out of school. I am trying again in a new location, expecting sap appeals and other financial difficulties.
Mr. Conway, this is a long term and chronic issue regarding civil rights violations.  Every job from 2001 to 2007 had various federal agents and police divisions violating my rights to work. It created a hostile work enviornment similiar to the hostile online experience, forcing termination of employment/school/and all kinds of other problems. My bank accounts are being hacked and money stolen as usual. It appears police divisions with Associated Press/Sat Scientists and Realtors are putting me in the middle of a cvil war with both sides crippling my financial stability, and causing much mental anquish. My SAT grades at the University of Louisville were affected by Perconti ,Hobbs ,Main, AP, Paul Allen , and a half brother Steve Young, several neices and nephews stalking me and their trading stocks. My client Pepper English of Bell South complained of the Army-University of Louisville adversely affecting the School Boards fundraising which she participated in.  My employment was terminated.  I did not participate in their programs, however my identity was being used in them by Armed Forces and State and local government. This has continued although I have filed numerous reports of civil rights violations by CIA-VA-AP and Army-Navy and others.
Because I could not sustain employment over dueling fundraisers I choose to go back to school where the same civil rights problems affected me at work since 2001 occured. Education fundrasiers and civil rights violations are the cause of the workplace terminations, and loss; theft of wages, destruction of $350,000.00 in assets, the loss of a home from an IV assault by Main-AP valued at $400,000.00, and loss of wages of nearly a million this decade, nearly 30,000.00 in wasted school loans, waste of nearly thirteen years of my life, tremendous violence, death threats, bankruptcy, everyone robbing me, mental anquish, slander, stalking and severe injury by Veterans  Administration, CIA, Secret Service, and other intelligence agencies and military branches. Chronic long term abuse caused me to become homeless and worthless. I once enjoyed two solid businesses, taught continuing edcation at the University of Louisville. I am not degreed, therefore I believe my seminar business and real estate business earnings are the motive for the inflicted civil rights abuse.
Presently, I have moved to Wilmington, North Carolina.  I still maintain resdency through a niece in Louisville. I moved to avoid further harassment and shame. Since then, military and police are hacking into my bank accounts. Military is wasting my money using high technology riding me around in circles.  This is being caused by either a mistaken identity with Pam Brown or my former job at Dictaphone/Nuance or my name Sherrill Young Estes. Sherrill Young is a school board superintendant , a man, and resides in  school board superintendant in Bakerfield, Cal . Bakersfiled is the hometown of  Kevin Harvick , closely associated with Mary Ann Main Palmer a former attorney of my separated husband. Palmer, Associated Press, is a former recruiter for Popa Johns.
Every possible conflict has been directed toward me in an effort to destroy my life and enjoyment thereof. Today, my losses are hugh,there have been numerous military assaults and extreme loss affecting my earnings and assets as well as my mental and financial stability.
Much confusion regarding  what, why , and  who has affected my getting back to you late. My son S. Ryan Estes, a purechild of my long marriage to Mr. Chris Estes has been slandered.  There is much psychological abuse regarding communication with authorities.  I pray you can assist me in this process and help me to better understand how some identity theft may have played a part of the injuries and loss I sustained. Regardless, I am now prepared to have you represent me with a civil rights education case. I am able to return to Kentucky, should this be required.  I can travel and meet with you.

I have recently found out about the lawsuit against Daymar College and feel that I , like many others, was mislead. The credits from the school seem to be worthless. When I could not find a job I joined the military and was going to continue my education. Only 2.3 credits (out of 96) would trasferr to other colleges. Is it to late for me? What can I do to get involved with this lawsuit. Thanks!

I have been discriminated against several times at this school. Had previously contacted jack Conway by way of Facebook on the basis of mishandling of federal funds. This school is committing great acts of discrimination and mishandled funds by using underhanded methods. I have documentation to back up my claims.

I want to be part of the lawsuit that is already in place and file one personally due to he discrimination and mishandling of my funds since I've been at this school.I was stopped from graduating  Nov. 16, 2012. Without reason. I've been a student for three years for my goals and dreams not excluding the 43000 dollars they are claiming that is owed to be snatched away because of the color of my skin and the fraudulent behavoir

I am a veteran and attended Daymar College.  When I enrolled, I was told the college was accredited and my classes would transfer if I chose to go elsewhere.  I was also told they would file my VA paperwork.  I was allowed to attend classes and charge my books.  Most of the books were specific to Daymar college so I couldn't buy my books from anywhere but Daymar, but I was allowed to charge them to my account.  I went to the school for a year and a half and was never informed there was an issue.  When I didn't continue with my classes, I received a call from a very rude collection agency.  The man told me I owed Daymar almost $10,000.  He didn't believe me when I told him I didn't get a bill.  I spoke to the financial aid department several times and Mr. William West (president of the Bellevue, KY campus) and never received a bill from them.  I got to the point where I quit following up on it.  The financial aid department, at one point, told me it wouldn't show up on my credit report.  If they filled out the VA paperwork, why would there be a bill for $10K?  Anyway, I transferred to Thomas More in 2011.  None of my classes from Daymar transferred so I was forced to take classes over again.  They were so much alike that I was able to use my notes from some of the Daymar classes to help me with my Thomas More classes.  I wasted a year and a half at Daymar and used VA funds for the school so now  I don't have the funds to complete my Bachelors degree.  I occasionaly get a call from a collection agency, it is alwasy a different one, but when they call I refer them to Mr. West.

THIS IS JUST A TEST

I have reapplied for additional loan amounts about a month ago. I signed the form with the understanding that I would have a check by October 26. I have been told by student services director/instructor  that it is up to the financial aid director Franci Monroe to process me. I have tried to contact her many times and every time been told she is unavailable or is out of town. I am a single mother and can't afford to not pay my bills. I am just asking that you help me receive my money. Thanks Casey Hilton

I was under the impression when I first enrolled (right out of high school) that my credits would transfer and that my degree would be of value. I was naive, and a victim of the over-priced hype that is the for-profit college industry. I have recently asked for a full refund of all tuition costs in exchange for them to just wipe my record clean and say that I never attended there in the first place. I feel like I was taken advantage of and also that the state already has an amazing community college system in place for low-income students (kctcs) where the credits actually do transfer, and the degrees are actually useful of have the potential to be - and it's so much cheaper. Why do we even need for-profits in the first place? I hope that you and/or your office takes a strong position to get these degree mills out of this state for good.

I was told by my attorney to contact you regarding this lawsuit to see if I qualify for any reimbursement for my student loans due to the practices of Daymar College.

My name is Jeannie Lyons and in June 2007 I graduated from National College with a degree in medical assisting and with a diploma for pharmacy technician. The entire time I was a student I was told they would help me with job placement and that my salary would increase significantly when I did find one instead of struggling on minimum wage. I was also told that National College was an accredited school which I have found it is not. As of today I have not been able to find a job with the degree that I have nor have I been assisted in anyway by National College. Since I could not find a job with the degrees that I currently have I decided to go back to a community college to be able to receive my RN degree so I could find a job. I have went two years to this school where I found out recently that I have been accepted into their RN program with only four semester to complete but here is the problem since National College was not accredited school the college I attend now will not accept their credits nor will any other college for that matter. I have had to start all over again including all of my prerequisites. Now that I have been accepted into the RN program my loans have accumulated so much because of National College that I can no longer go to school because National maxed out my loans plus I was lied to about credits transferring. I do not know what to do because I want to complete the four semester I have to be an RN but I can not afford to because I am a single mother with two children who depend on me so every dime that I have goes to them and the cost of living without any extra that I can take out of pocket for education expenses. I would like to pursue legal action against National College for not only lying about being accredited college but also for lying about my entire experience at National College. I went to college so I would not have to struggle and live off of assistance from the state but all National College has done is put me more in debt and took my dream away from being an RN because of their lies and deceit. Please help me with information to pursue a lawsuit.
